WEST ASIA IN THE TWENTY FIRST CENTURY : DOMESTIC AND EXTERNAL CHALLENGES BY K.M. SAJAD IBRAHIM (HARDCOVER)

Book Description

West Asia in the Twenty First Century: Domestic and External Challenges, edited by K. M. Sajad Ibrahim, is an academic edited volume published by Abhijeet Publications, New Delhi, in 2018. It contains 12 scholarly articles examining the major political, economic, security, and foreign-policy developments shaping West Asia in the twenty-first century.

The book examines West Asia as a region marked by inter-state rivalry, political instability, conflict, terrorism, religious extremism, and competing regional and global interests. Rather than treating these developments only as security problems, the volume explores the interaction between domestic political and socio-economic challenges and external interventions and geopolitical competition
