ROMANCE OF SOCIALISM AND FEMINISM BY ROSALINE JAMIR [HARDCOVER]

“Romance of Socialism and Feminism” is a book by Rosaline Jamir, and the phrase also refers to Socialist Feminism, a political ideology that argues for the liberation of women by replacing capitalist systems with socialist ones to eliminate both classism and sexism. Socialist feminists contend that women’s true freedom is impossible in a capitalist society, which inherently oppresses women through economic structures, and advocate for a society where the means of production are collectively owned.
